Reduced Toxin Exposure: Phthalates are chemicals often used in fragrance oils to help the scent last longer. However, they have been linked to various health issues. Opting for phthalate-free fragrance oils reduces exposure to these potentially harmful chemicals.

Cleaner Burning: Soy wax burns cleaner and produces significantly less soot compared to paraffin wax, which can help maintain indoor air quality. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with respiratory issues or sensitivities.

Longer Burning Time: Soy candles typically have a longer burning time than paraffin candles of the same size, providing more hours of enjoyment per candle.

Biodegradable and Renewable: Soy wax is derived from soybeans, making it a renewable resource. Additionally, soy wax is biodegradable, which means it is more environmentally friendly compared to paraffin wax, which is derived from petroleum.

No Lead in Wicks: We use 100% cotton wicks, which are free from lead and other harmful metals commonly found in traditional candle wicks. Lead exposure can be harmful to both humans and pets, so using lead-free wicks further enhances the safety of soy candles

Non-Toxic: Soy wax is non-toxic, meaning it doesn't release harmful carcinogens into the air when burned. This makes soy candles a safer option for indoor use, especially in enclosed spaces.

Phthalates are commonly used in candles as part of the fragrance oil mixture. They serve as fixatives, helping to bind the fragrance molecules and extend the scent's longevity. However, due to growing concerns about potential health effects associated with phthalate exposure, particularly when candles are burned indoors, we use for phthalate-free fragrance oils.

The concern with phthalates primarily revolves around their potential to disrupt the endocrine system, which regulates hormone production and function in the body.
